I have 18 years experience, working as a counsellor. During this time I have offered support to clients of all ages and life backgrounds.
I create a safe and confidential space for people to be able to talk about anything that may be worrying them. I draw on therapeutic support I have carried out in private practice and with agencies that support vulnerable adults, children, young people, and family work. It is important to me that everyone that meets me for help feels able to explore difficult feelings in a way that is comfortable for them. I offer counselling for people that have experienced or are experiencing struggle in the following areas:
Trauma, Addiction, Bereavement, Relationship Difficulties, Stress and Anxiety, LGBTQ, Loss, Abuse, Domestic Violence, Sexual violence, Identity, Transition, Couples and Family Therapy.
My fees are on a sliding scale from £40 – 50 for individuals, £60 for Couples & £70 for Family Counselling. This fee is for 1 counselling hour (50 minutes). I meet with clients at my clinic in Brighton & Hove. I can also meet with clients in other clinical locations in the Sussex area.
I have a post-graduate diploma in Person-Centred Counselling, and a post-graduate certificate and advanced diploma in Counselling Supervision. I offer Counselling Supervision for Counsellors. I am a fully Registered Member of the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy, and hold Professional Liabilities Insurance.
The times I meet with clients are on Wednesday afternoons 2 – 5pm, and evenings 5 – 9pm, Thursday mornings 10am – 12pm, and afternoons/evenings 12 – 9pm, Friday mornings 10am – 12pm, and afternoons/evenings 12 – 9pm.
