Information about me: I am an Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counsellor, and I work with numerous different approaches to find the one that suits the client best as an individual. I understand that everyone is different and that each client needs to feel comfortable, valued and respected. This is what I provide within my practice; a safe environment for clients to explore their issues, without feeling criticised or judged in any way. I am committed to helping my clients understand their realities, their struggles, and finally- their solutions. My personal theoretical background is in Integrative Counselling, but I have also received additional training in Psychodynamic Counselling, NLP, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. I use a more structured-based approach with those who are struggling to change their routines, especially if they feel these patterns are destructive. Issues I work with include:
- Eating disorders
- Self-harm
- Anxiety and depression
- Self-destructive tendencies
- Sexual identity issues
- Personality Disorders
- Trauma
- Bereavement
- Abuse
- Conflict.
- I completed a BSc Honour Degree in Counselling specifically, before going on to obtain a certificate in Psychodynamic Counselling, a Diploma in Integrative Counselling and an Advanced Diploma in Integrative Counselling.
- I am a fully qualified counselling and a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
- I have also received additional training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Time-Limitied Counselling, Psychiatry, Psychopathology and Psychodynamics, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, and Drug, Solvent and Alcohol Abuse within Counselling.
