paul hurstAlthough originally training in psychology, I found myself increasingly drawn to working with individuals rather than studying large groups and so took a one-year certificate and then three-year diploma in counselling and psychotherapy.
After starting in private practice, I have found myself often working with ‘men of a certain age’, perhaps my website resonates with them – or else because  I fit that description myself! Happy to work with any client over 18, either face to face, by video link or if necessary initially by ‘phone or email.

Currently training in pastoral support, existential and humanistic coaching and counselling (part-time M.A. course).

Areas of counselling that I treat
