If you do not wish to suffer long NHS admissions processes where your addiction is left uncontained, but you do not have the financial backing to pay for private admission, you may be able to gain access to speedy recovery under the terms of a private insurance policy.

Whether you can afford to pay privately or not, we would always encourage all of our patients to at least check the terms of insurance policies they may have taken out.

We liaise with all the major insurers in the UK including BUPA, AXA, Zurich, Prudential, Standard Life, Aviva and Cigna.

If you choose to activate your insurance policy we can liaise on your behalf and funding can typically be arranged within 48 hours.

How Do I Apply Via My Insurance Policy?

First, we would advise you to check your policy documents to see if you’re covered for residential rehab. This could be under your general or employee health insurance policy.

Send Help4Addiction your insurer details and insurance policy number with written permission for us to liaise on your behalf.

What Happens Next?

Upon receipt of your entitlement under your policy of insurance, one of our admissions staff will contact you to inform you of what options you are entitled to (usually within 48 hours of your initial phone call to ourselves).
